BRIDGE Health
BRidging Information and Data Generation for Evidence-based Health Policy and Research
BRIDGE Health aims to prepare the transition towards a sustainable and integrated EU health information system for both public health and research purposes.
The project bridges the best of EU projects in domains of population and health system monitoring, indicator development, health examination surveys, environment and health, population injury and disease registries, clinical and administrative health data collection systems and methods of health systems monitoring and evaluation. HS&I HealthSystemIntelligence is leading work in the area “evaluation of health care systems” (WP12) in collaboration with the Department of Health Economics, Centre of Public Health, Medical University Vienna. The aim is to produce blueprints of key health system indicators and data, project outcomes and performance assessment frameworks.
Starting point is the Health Data Navigator which will be developed further and adapted to feature building blocks for enhanced comparative evaluation of health care systems. For more information on the BRIDGE Health project, please visit: http://www.bridge-health.eu/
